Sales Coordinator


Description
The Sales Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Director of Sales in their respective market. Responsibilities include administrative duties such as answering calls, communicating with clients, data entry, and coordinating details with the hotel operations team to ensure success with every business account.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties (includes but is not limited to the following):
 Primary point of contact for clients, answering calls, responding to emails and being liaison between client and Director of Sales.
 Prepare sales related documents, contracts, proposals and BEO’s and resumes.
 Ensure CRM is accurate and up to date at all times.
 Responsible for operational and administrative functions for group block management including building blocks, managing group inventory, billing, pre-arrival and post departure tasks as required.
 Reservation management for business travel clients and group blocks.
 Manage group no-show and cancellation charges appropriately.
 Maintain a working knowledge of the sales, front office & accounting areas.
 Direct the scheduling of events at the hotel and coordinate with all departments to ensure customer requirements are met and satisfaction exceeded.
 Provide regular sales activity and related reports to Director of Sales.
 Provide the highest quality of service to the customer at all times, set example for hotel wide staff.
 Conduct site inspections (at Director of Sales discretion) for potential groups in an efficient and professional manner.
 Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.
 Keep Company business including but not limited to, financials, personnel, guest and customer data strictly confidential.

Skills
 Proficient with current technologies and software inclusive of business applications. (Brand related system knowledge preferred).
 Ability to attend and complete job and Brand training.
 Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends and holidays
 Excellent written and communication skills required.
 Be organized and work well in a fast-paced team environment.
 A passion for delivering great customer service.
 Move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing less than or equal to 15 pounds without assistance.
 Maintain professionalism at all times.
 Hospitality experience preferred.
 High School Diploma required; College Degree is preferred.
