HEAD CHEF
We are looking for a Head Chef for an incredible, family run restaurant set on a farm in the heart of Hampshire. This restaurant serves quality, locally sourced, vibrant dishes from lunchtime snacks for takeaway to a more extensive evening offering. The location is very popular with locals and regulars as well as those visiting the farm from further afield. The restaurant is nice and busy and is very fast paced, it’s an ideal opportunity for an ambitious chef to completely own the project and out their own input on the menu entirely.
WHAT’S THE JOB?
As Head Chef, you will assist the owners in the successful running of the kitchen. You will be part of a small but perfectly formed team of creative and ambitious chefs who work in a relaxed manor, there is no shouting in this kitchen. You will begin by getting to understand the existing offering and clientele, before working with the owners to re-create and relaunch a new menu in the coming months.
It presents a great opportunity for the right Head Chef to have their own menu, execute all of their own ideas and really put their stamp on what is a really unique location and restaurant concept.
WHO ARE THEY LOOKING FOR?
The right candidate will be an experienced senior chef from a fast-paced restaurant background, preferably with experience of working with fresh food and good quality ingredients.
Other attributes would include:
Great attention to detail and experience with fresh food.
A passion for driving standards and quality.
A genuine love for food and working with people.
All candidates must be eligible to work in the UK and will be required to provide suitable and up-to-date ID at first stage interview.
