We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer who can not only deliver on the upkeep of the building, but is friendly, caring, creative and a problem solver. As our Chief Engineer, you will be an important part of the Hotel Leadership Team delivering the ongoing planned maintenance and upkeep of our listed building as well as ensuring legal compliance at all times in the areas you are responsible for and managing your department budget to ensure costs are controlled.

What we are looking for……..

• At least City and Guilds or NVQ 3 in Plumbing, Electrical or Painting & Decorating
• Electrical Certification to 17th Edition; Inspection and testing
• IT and systems literate
• Being able to act upon different maintenance issues including plumbing, repairs, equipment and physical tasks
• A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role or in facilities management.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and regulations
• Go out of your way to ensure our guests get to learn and discover our neighbourhood.
• As leader of the Maintenance team you'll provide flexible coverage which will include some shift work, weekends and may also include 'on call duties' as and when required
