Market Inventory Specialist


Description
As the Market Inventory and POS Specialist, you will will be responsible for overseeing inventory flow in the market store, ensuring both accuracy of inventory levels and point-of-sale updates. This position requires someone with the ability to interact and communicate effectively with management, floor personnel, and other internal departments.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
• Leads and manages physical inventories process of all site components
• Owns site cycle counting processes and systems
• Researches and resolves inventory discrepancies
• Processes and posts physical inventory transactions in the system
• Assists in troubleshooting functions related to shipping/receiving/production/consumption
• Acts as key/super user for ECRS Point of Sale System and WebCart eCommerce Component of ECRS
• Works independently with little direction
• Performs other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience
• Bachelor's degree required
• Familiarity with inventory management documentation and processing requirements
• Extremely knowledgeable of POS systems required, ECRS preferred
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaborative skills, to include working effectively with co-workers by sharing ideas in a constructive and positive manner
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to create a barcode system and the creation of SKU's

Qualifications

• Knowledge of food safety policy and procedures preferred.
• Motivated, self-starter with a positive, contagious attitude!
• Excellent communication skills
• Customer Service experience
• Flexibility in rotating working shifts, including some holidays, as needed by the business
• Experience in grocery, food service or retail environment preferred

Compensation: Based on experience. Benefits include PTO, medical insurance, life insurance, and a stipend of food from the farm.
