Lead Host

We are a busy, highly rated Midtown restaurant serving Modern Indian Cuisine, and we are searching for an experienced Lead Host. We require a minimum of two years experience in NYC fine dining, and at least a year in position as a Lead Host. Lead Host responsibilities include, but are not limited to: opening and/or closing side work, providing the appropriate first impression to all guests, setting up the book each day in Open Table, conducting calls to confirm reservations, supervising one to two hosts during service, running the book to maximize reservations, communicating guests' special requests to service team verbally and through use of soignees, seating guests, and answering phone queries. You must also have a positive, energetic attitude, and a smile in your voice.
