Chef Manish Malhotra is breaking the mold of Indian cuisine and showcasing Indian food in a whole new light. Chef Manish has earned Indian Accent New Delhi "Best Restaurant in India" 6 years running and is also #39 on San Pellegrino's Top 50 Restaurant of the World, and we are looking to bring those awards to our location here in New York City!
Our service is what is setting us apart from most "fine dining" restaurants. Approachable, warm, true hospitality is what we aim for, tailoring each guests experience to make them feel at home, and putting our best foot forward each time is the goal.
We are currently looking for food runners and assistant servers.
Responsibilities include:
Food Runners:
You are mainly an assistant to the kitchen. You are also the bridge between the kitchen and the guest.
Preparing the kitchen for a smooth service by organizing and polishing plate-ware and silverware, delivering and describing food to guests in a timely manner, and knowing the basics of the food we serve.
Assistant Servers:
Here you will start getting to know more about the floor and how our service works.
While some may consider it a "bus boy" position, this is where you focus on clearing tables, resetting, and water maintenance. But this is also a great step to learn from others on the floor and potentially expand your knowledge to move to the next step!
We are willing to train the right candidates with no experience as well.
