AM Porter/Handyman

Indian Road Cafe is seeking an early morning Porter. We are looking for self-motivated team players who are interested in helping to maintain the cleanliness of equipment and facilities in compliance with the Department of Health Standards.

You must have early morning availability, otherwise, we will be unable to move forward in the hiring process. The hours to start will be the following and will grown into a 35 hour work week. The schedule will start as:

Wednesday: 6am-12pm
Thursday: 6am-12pm
Saturday: 6am-12pm
Sunday: 6am-12pm

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

-General cleaning of restaurant, lounge, bars and office

-Sweep and mop all floors of the property

-Put out garbage and recycling for pickup

-Clean sinks, countertops, walls, tabletops, bar, and windows

-Clean and restock the restrooms

-Maintain standards of cleanliness

-Regular deep-cleaning of specific areas

-Able to handle light maintenance/handyman work

-General support of service and management team

Requirements:

-Ability to lift a min of 50 pounds

-Ability to stand for entire shift, able to ben and stoop frequently

-Follow health and safety procedures

-Food protection certification will be considered a plus
