J Sheekey has a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Bar Manager to join our fun and lively team, part of Caprice Holdings.

J Sheekey is our iconic seafood restaurant in the heart of theatre land in the West End providing the finest fish, oysters and shellfish to our customers. The restaurant is vibrant and lively attracting west end shoppers, theatre goers as well as the cast of the nearby theatres meaning that service is always fast paced.

As Assistant Bar Manager you will have flair, charisma and charm with the ability to provide the highest levels of service to our customers. The Assistant Bar Manager will assist the Bar Manager to ensure the team are always delivering the highest quality drinks and providing engaging service.

The ideal Assistant Bar Manager will:
• Have previous experience working within a high profile, destination bar as Assistant Bar Manager
• Be passionate about creating fantastic cocktails with the ability to advise and recommend to customers.
• Have some previous experience of delivering quality food service along with an interest in food is highly desirable
• Have a clear understanding and knowledge of effective liquor, stock and margin control within a bar environment
• Be self-motivated and an excellent leader with exceptional communication skills
• Have an extensive knowledge of quality spirits and wines with a passion to continually develop the drinks offering.
• Be a team player and willing to develop other team members
• Have excellent knowledge of F&B
