Company Overview

KERB is a business that powers other businesses. We focus on the incubation and growth of innovative, independent food businesses. We run brilliant street food markets, workshops, consultancy, bars, a food hall in Central London and have developed a growing, successful corporate catering company, KERB Events Limited.

We are a food-obsessed and people-first company who believes that everyone with a bit of spark should have the opportunity to ignite it. Be it food entrepreneurs or team members, our mission is to create opportunity and joy through great food, from the KERB up.

Role Overview

KERB Events Limited provides our services at many live events, including at venues such as The KIA Oval, Goodwood Motor Circuit, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Aston Villa Football Club, Leicester Tigers and Jockey Club Racing venues.

Reporting to the Senior Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing the operational needs and successful running of a range of events across a variety of venues in the West Midlands on a freelance basis. This role is well-suited to someone who is hungry to get involved with KERB, with a keen eye for detail, good communication skills, understanding Health & Safety principles, and previous experience of operating & managing large scale events with multiple stakeholders, week-in-week-out.

We need a talented, enthusiastic team player to deliver an excellent experience for the customer, traders and client. The role encompasses ensuring the day-to-day operation runs smoothly, working with the Senior Account Manager to ensure all health and safety practices are implemented fully.  Stakeholder management, quality control (this includes eating!) and customer engagement all feature prominently.

A grasp of the street food world and previous experience working on a stall is a big plus. We need a can-do character with the ambition and expertise to push our Midlands based events to a new level.

  • Managing a diverse group of clients/venue/partnership stakeholders whilst supporting the teams to deliver a smooth operation as well as exceptional hospitality and being the conduit between the venues and KERB
  • Customer engagement – being the voice and face of KERB on the ground
  • Focusing on the guest experience and developing ways to enhance this
  • Reporting on weekly set KPIs including;  stock takes, operational excellence, Customer and Team satisfaction
  • Adhering to the venue and KERB’s procedures and rules, whilst maintaining clear communication at all times
