BAR SUPPORT JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for some superstar barback’s to support our awesome bartenders and the rest of our team at Seven Dials Market. You’ll assist with bar opening and closing procedures and perform various behind-the-bar tasks, such as restocking the bar and preparing garnishes. Ultimately, you’ll help ensure that our guests get excellent customer service and enjoy their time at the venue..

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Tidy up counters and ensure cleanliness of all bar areas

• Collect, clean and restock empty glassware 

• Restock the bars, and receiving deliveries following the ‘first in first out’ procedure

• Prepare juices and cocktail garnishes

• Assist in the setting up and cleaning down of the bar 

• Changing kegs and gas

• Maintaining the venue's recycling procedures and disposing of waste in the correct places.

• Working closely with the supervisors ensuring that the Health & Safety standards are delivered

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• You must be at least 18 years old due to licensing conditions

• Interest in the hospitality industry; previous entry-level experience in a bar or restaurant is not mandatory, but will be considered a plus

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent people skills, able to communicate confidently with staff, guests and traders

• An eye for detail and use of initiative to keep the venue looking and feeling great

• Physical ability to lift beer kegs, hold trays of bottles and glassware and stand during the shift

• Flexibility to work during evenings, weekends and public holidays

• A love of food and drink

• Will enjoy working in a busy Central London spot, with regular live DJs and events throughout the year

• Outstanding hustle 

BARTENDER JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for bartenders to join our team to provide excellent customer service to guests at Seven Dials Market and leave a lasting impression along with awesome quality drinks. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Providing excellent customer service 

• Adhering to the laws regarding the sales of alcohol including challenge 25.

• Preparing all drinks on the menu to the correct specifications and keeping within the company's brand standards.

• Setting up and closing the bar and adhering to high cleanliness standards and practices and maintaining this throughout service. 

• Having strong knowledge of our menu and products that we sell and being able to make recommendations to customers; as well as be aware of any allergens. 

• Maintaining the venue's recycling procedures and disposing of waste in the correct places.

• Being available to assist customers when required.

• Supporting the Bar Support team when needed in restocking fridges, cutting fruit and putting away glassware.

• Helping unload and put away deliveries from the warehouse.

• Report any safety issues, broken glass, spillages etc to the management team and assist in correcting the issue.

• Be willing to help out in other areas in the business when needed and generally be a team player! 

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• 1 years experience in bartending however this isn’t a dealbreaker  

• A knowledge and love of KERB - our history, what we represent and what we do

• Great knowledge of beers, wines & spirits - cocktail experience would be a bonus

• An awareness of the licensing objectives 

• Excellent people skills, able to communicate confidently with staff, guests and traders

• An eye for spotting upselling opportunities

• A positive and flexible attitude, with the ability to think laterally and willing to problem solve

• An eye for detail and use of initiative to keep the venue looking and feeling great

• Experience using tablet based till systems - we use Sumup

• A love of food and drink
