About the role

 

A Restaurant Duty Manager is responsible for the effective shift management of the restaurant. They will provide motivational leadership and inspired coaching to the team, ensuring guests leave highly satisfied and the restaurant is commercially successful. 

 

What you’ll be doing?


People:  

  • Communicating, inspiring and engaging your team with clear and achievable goals.
  • Encouraging team members to take ownership and accountability for results.
  • Training and coaching the team to grow performance.
  • Driving our unique recognition culture on every shift.
  • Assisting with Employee Relations where appropriate - tracking absence/ lateness/ completing Return to Work interviews etc.

 

Guest Experience: Enhance our guest experience and lead the restaurant standards revolution.

  • Inspiring your team to be fanatical about guest experience, to elevate our business as a ‘Fast Good’ QSR brand, by ensuring your teams deliver world-class service to every one of our restaurant’s guests.
  • Leading from the front by role modelling guest engagement and interaction.
  • Be an ambassador for all service channels ensuring guests receive the same level of service through dine in, drive thru and deliveries.
  • Ensuring we deliver industry leading standards with respect to both Health & Safety and Food Safety regulations in our restaurants.
  • Ensuring we run great restaurants by achieving consistent pass ratings in our internal operational audit process.

 

Business: Strengthen and boost the progression of our already rapidly growing business.

  • Leading with commerciality, you’ll focus on our sales enablers; Forecasting, Product Availability, Product quality, Deployment, Speed of service.
  • Embedding routines consistently across the restaurant and engaging all team members on effective trade across the restaurant.
  • Supporting with growth of new revenue streams such as home delivery, and leveraging relationships in both our delivery team and external partners to grow fast.
