Brand Ambassador – Fine Dining
JOB TITLE: NYC Fine Dining Brand Ambassador
REPORTS TO: Foodservice Manager
CLASSIFIED AS: Part Time
General Summary:
This role is responsible for going to NYC Fine Dining, high end restaurants and communicating the benefits of Kikkoman Soy Sauce and other products. Kikkoman is the leader in Asian Sauces. We are hiring Brand Ambassadors in the New York metro area to help grow and develop new fine dining accounts. The Ambassadors are assistants to the Foodservice Marketing team and should provide education, and proactively reinforce the company's philosophy, mission, and brand.
Key Accountabilities:
• Visit fine dining restaurants, sample, and educate chefs on Kikkoman Soy Sauce and other products in the portfolio
• Provide samples of Kikkoman products
• Clearly explain the features and benefits of Kikkoman Soy Sauce
• Convey the history and heritage of Kikkoman
• Educate customers on the taste profile and variety of sauces from Kikkoman
• Provide daily recaps of customers visited, types of Asian sauces used in operation
• Provide next steps for outside sales personnel to follow up on accounts
• Primary times to call on chefs are 9:30 – 11:00 am and 1:30 – 4:00 pm
• Fill in time calling on Japanese and Chinese restaurant
Experience/Education:
• Restaurant or hospitality experience
• Able to work independently
• Highly resourceful
• Excellent communication skills, sense of urgency, extroverted personality, well organized
• Knowledge and passion for Asian Cuisine
• Bilingual in Japanese or Cantonese helpful, but not mandatory
