As a Junior Sous Chef of the Broadwick Soho team, you will drive the vision of being a glorious Hotel that embraces the spirit of Soho, alongside making our guests feel as comfortable as we do through our values of being independent, embracing, generous, and exquisite.
To assist the Sous Chef and the Head Chef in developing and delivering all meals in the Hotel, health, food safety procedures, and HACCP, as well as coordinating and participating with all kitchen operations, menu development, and planning.
You will estimate food consumption assist with ordering and maintaining stock inventory, and ensure our highest standards and food presentation, portioning, and taste are according to our exacting standards.
You are responsible for mentoring, coaching, and developing the Chef in cooking and skills. You will be trained on leadership skills in case the Senior Sous Chef or Executive Chef is absent in the kitchen.
A Junior Sous Chef is ranked directly below the Sous Chef; the junior sous chef provides training and leadership to cooks and other kitchen staff to ensure high productivity, excellent teamwork and food production that meets campus dining’s ambitious standards.
We believe in flexibility and multi-skilling, and you may be asked to do different tasks from time to time to enable us to meet the needs of our guests and colleagues.
You will work with brilliant colleagues across the Hotel so that we are one team delivering a seamless and memorable guest experience.
