The Wholesale Planner supports the USA, Canada and Mexico wholesale businesses by providing analysis and guidance on annual financial and seasonal merchandise plans. The goal of the Planning function is to drive the business through strategic seasonal merchandise planning, controlled inventory management, management of OTB and insightful analysis and strategy.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

·       Create and maintain all wholesale reporting including, but not limited to: style selling, sales to stock, delivery sell-thru and weekly top-line, shop performance reports, and ATS recaps.

·       Assist Director of Planning, in partnership with VP Wholesale and Country leads, to accurately forecast gross wholesale revenue, margin, AUR$ and unit sales by account during quarterly budget process

·       Update and maintain sales relevant reports (i.e., Orderbook, Sales Planning, Etc.) on a seasonal basis to ensure correct data management history

·       Weekly Open to Ship reporting at account and department-level against LY, budget and re-forecasts

·       Seasonally develop topline Merchandise plans in collaboration with Sales Division heads taking into account overall business forecasts and needs

·       In market coordinate roll up of channel projections data from Retail, Wholesale, eCommerce and Outlets in one comprehensive purchase file format

·       Key Cross functional partnership with Wholesale, Finance and buying team to execute total MBP seasonal strategy.

·       Responsible for all aspects of managing country-level core replenishment process including:

o   Creating and maintain replenishment sales forecasts by account and channel

o   Forecast weekly, monthly, and annual gross revenue

o   Planning ideal replenishment stock and communicating proposed procurement projection to Director of Planning on monthly and seasonal basis

·       Partner with key accounts’ planning counterparts in driving business:

o   Develop seasonal buy plans and help negotiate receipt dollars

o   Execute strategy through maintaining a close working relationship with account planning team in-season to chase opportunities and maximize sales

o   Propose creative ideas to drive sales while maintaining profitability and minimize risks

 

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

·       Minimum of 3-5 years experience in merchandise and financial planning

·       Strong cross-functional partnership skills, highly detail-oriented and organized

·       Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint expertise: must be able to analyze large volumes of data in excel and be able to distill analysis into digestible presentations

·       Four year college degree
