The Associate Merchandise Planner supports the USA 1st choice (full-price retail + ecommerce) business by providing comprehensive sell-in and sell-out analysis across all Lacoste product lines and partnering with Wholesale team to translate topline seasonal merchandise plans to SKU-level purchase targets. The goal of the Planning function is to drive the business through strategic seasonal merchandise planning, controlled inventory management, management of OTB and insightful analysis and strategy.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

·       Partner closely with Account Representatives to translate topline seasonal merchandise plans in SKU-level purchase units, roll up all account purchases and ensure alignment versus plans

·       Support in running all topline reporting including, but not limited to: style selling, sales to stock, delivery sell-thru and weekly top-line, shop performance reports, and ATS recaps

·       Support in maintaining sales relevant reports (i.e., Orderbook, Sales Planning, Etc.) on a seasonal basis to ensure correct data management history

·       Responsible for all sizing analysis and size curve recommendations for purchase by product line and fit

·       Responsible for ensuring all core replenishment product shipments and forecasts are in alignment; flag potential shortfalls and chase opportunities

·       Work closely with wider planning team to ensure optimization of inventory allocations in-season and provide thoughtful solutions based on business priorities

·       Partner with buying/merchandising team to ensure seasonal assortments and line sheets are represented accurately on sales platforms

 

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

·       Minimum of 2-3 years experience in buying, planning or merchandising

·       Strong cross-functional partnership skills, highly detail-oriented and organized

·       Microsoft Excel proficiency – formulas, pivot tables and large data management

·       Four year college degree
