The  Wholesale Controlling Manager will be responsible for overseeing the general financial control of the company’s wholesale divisions. Candidate is responsible for overseeing the monthly and yearly closures as well as the budgeting and forecasting processes in regards to retail sales and margins, as well as retail expenses. 

Essential Job Responsibilities:

·        Compilation and preparation of 3 Year Plan, Budget, and quarterly forecasts by establishing schedules; collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data in liaison with Business owners.

·   Assist accounting team in the completion of timely and comprehensive end of month closing and analysis of variations in financial results to ensure accuracy.

·   Monthly analysis of P&L (Sales and Margin by product, Payroll analysis in liaison with HR, Facilities and CAM charges) against prior year, budget and last forecast, providing explanations of variances and action plan in liaison with Wholesale’s team and communication any risks and opportunities.

·   Complete the monthly required reporting to the French parent company.

·   Review and accept invoices and payments made in accordance with company policies and authorization levels.

·   Assist the external Independent Auditors overseeing and ensuring completion of the interim hard audit and the year-end audit.

·   Leadership or involvement on ad-hoc requests for both data and analysis, determine ROI and optimize investments.

·   Identify potential problem areas and alert management of any possible financial impact.

·   Review and monitor financial systems that may improve efficiency and productivity.

·   Review and implement policies and procedures for financial processes and review of internal controls.

·   Perform all other duties as assigned and required.

Requirements/Qualifications:

·  BS/BA in Finance/Accounting is required; MBA or CPA is a plus

·  At least 5 years’ experience in a similar consolidation position

·  Experience in a medium or large sized multinational company preferred

·  Strong knowledge of FP&A reporting required

·  Advanced Excel skills and PowerPoint

·  Experience with Hyperion (HFM) as a must
