Manager, Trade Marketing


Description

The Manager, Trade Marketing is responsible for the development and implementation of key Marketing strategies that bring the brand to life across all business stakeholders (i.e. wholesale customers, partners, and end consumers). The main objectives are to build brand strength, drive traffic and influence sell-out at all POS.

This position will oversee and implement all brand activations through partnerships or consumer focused events (eg sport events). The Manager, Trade Marketing will also develop strategies which build the LACOSTE brand and sell-out of key products at all LACOSTE Retail (full price, outlet and ecommerce) and Wholesale channels.


Essential Job Responsibilities:

TRADE MARKETING

·       Creates, develops and implements Marketing programs that are innovative, creative and demonstrate ROI with focus on increasing Retail KPIs including traffic, conversion, UPT, AUR, and database acquisition; both immediate as well as long term at full price, outlet and ecommerce. Owns the Retail Marketing budget.

·       Directs and activates Retail Marketing Calendar incorporating US National Calendar (holidays) as well as other National and Market-specific seasonal cultural events to propose Marketing activations (e.g., discounts, promotions, GWP offers, etc.)

·       Drives the development of creative assets and tools needed to effectively communicate the brand message and products to consumers at all points of engagement with the objective of influencing sell-out and increasing desirability

·       Wholesale: Creates, develops and implements Marketing programs (including in-store events, digital/social media campaigns/promotions, direct mail, etc.) that influence sell-out at Wholesale working in collaboration with the Marketing teams at key Wholesale accounts to execute, leveraging co-op funding as well as existing customer Marketing programs

Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 to 8 years prior meeting and events planning experience preferably in the fashion industry, with a proven track record of successful events planning and marketing.
  • Advanced skills in organizing large-scale corporate meetings and coordinating event logistics.
  • Experience in physical retail and e-commerce sales. Fashion retail experience preferred.
  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, being able to respond and adapt to new opportunities and market trends.
  • Experience with managing advertising across multiple media including Print, Outdoor and Digital a plus.
  • Must be willing to travel at least 20% of the time.
  • Must have excellent presentation skills.
  • Must be able to clearly communicate information effectively and persuasively.
  • Ability to create and manage budgets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
