Key Account Manager - Footwear & Leather Goods


Description

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales plans and brand strategy under the direction of the Director of Key Accounts.
  • Presents seasonal collections to buying teams of their respective accounts.
  • Assists in the forecasting of their assigned accounts as well as monitoring and managing profitability each season (discounts, returns, margin assistance).
  • Collaborates with marketing, visual, and merchandising departments to ensure that the Lacoste brand messaging is properly presented to maximize sales performance.
  • Manages order placement, and inventory management for each assigned account.
  • Partners with supply chain and accounting teams to facilitate customer service as needed.
  • Maintains exceptional relationships with their assigned accounts and acts as a brand ambassador by providing merchandising and product knowledge training through store visits.

 

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably working with major department stores selling footwear.
  • Proven track record of sales and prior strong relationships with various department stores.
  • Strong organizational, analytical and time management skills.
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office, Excel, Powerpoint).  Must be able to compile large volumes of data on a spreadsheet with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, flexible, and able to quickly adapt in an ever-changing environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • College degree preferred.
