We are seeking an enthusiastic and capable Reservationist to join our exceptional team of service leaders. This role is responsible for creating an outstanding first impression and positive image of the restaurant, as this is the first contact with guests.
Your Responsibilities:
• This role efficiently and accurately handles reservations, cancellations and a variety of inquiries received from guests or
public and re-directs these inquiries to the restaurant staff as needed.
• Promptly answer all calls courteously and professionally using a friendly and sincere greeting and guest’s names when
possible
• Educate guests about menu selections, dining options, and settings at each property, including tasting menus/wine
pairings, private parties, and costs and availability.
• Respond to reservation requests, menu inquiries and other emails in a timely and professional manner
Your Qualifications:
• Minimum 1-3 years’ experience working in restaurant or establishment of similar caliber, preferably in reservations/host
department.
• High School Diploma, or equivalent level of education, required (Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all
units of measure)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read, speak and interpret documents in clear English.
• Must possess basic computer skills (Word, Email, Excel) and working knowledge of reservation management systems
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule. (including nights, weekends, and holidays)
• You must be organized, motivating, demonstrate excellent communication skills, and of course personable. Working
knowledge of reservation management systems is highly preferred.
