Deputy pub manager (9 month maternity cover)

Shepherd Neame is on the lookout for a Deputy Manager with bundles of energy and enthusiasm to join our team for a maternity cover contract, so if you have previous experience of leading a team from within either the hospitality or a service led environment and you are looking for a new and rewarding challenge; this may be just the job for you.

Please note that this is a 9 month maternity cover contract with an immediate or early July start available.

The Limes is a traditional pub located in the heart of Faversham, Kent, a short walk from the railway station and minutes from the town centre. It has a first floor function area with private bar, and also boasts a delightful courtyard garden.

As an ambassador for our brand, this role will see you supporting the General Manager with the day to day running of the business, deputising in their absence, and driving the delivery of continued growth and customer satisfaction at site. Assisting the creation of an inclusive culture within the business, you will work closely with the team, leading and developing them whilst ensuring that they offer excellent customer service at every opportunity.

If you haven’t got any previous hospitality experience please do not worry, so long as that you possess some of the qualities outlined below, we can train you and teach you everything else that you will need to know.
