Evening Pastry Baker
Under the kitchen direction of one of Israel’s top bread bakers, we are excited to introduce the community to artisan, naturally risen breads and French-style pastry from our location at 184 Essex Street in Millburn, NJ. Open since August 2018, we are already creating a following and reputation for quality of product and service. We are looking for team players, enthusiastic to work in a new business focused on service, quality and consistency.<br><br>The Assistant Pastry Baker works as part of a team responsible for all viennoiserie and cake and cookie prep and production. The Assistant Pastry Baker must be proficient with Laminated Doughs and have experience with a sheeter, as the primary responsibility of this person is to mix and shape all croissant and puff pastry doughs. This position is a 5-day work week, between the hours of 4 pm - 11 pm.<br><br>Responsibilities<br>• Work with the pastry baker to produce all pastry products such as croissants, Danish, rugelach<br>• Cross-train in all cake and cookie recipes<br>• Maintains overall cleanliness of the bakery and compliance with all health department regulations<br>Requirements<br>• At least 6 months working on a sheeter in a professional kitchen<br>• Must be precise and organized<br>• Available to work late nights and holidays<br>• Ability to lift 50 pounds<br><br>Job type: full-time<br>Compensation: Competitive compensation package based on experience and skill.<br><br>Liv Breads is an equal opportunity employer.<br>
