The Role
The food runner’s primary responsibility is to create an uncompromising dining experience throughout the guest’s visit. Our food runners demonstrate genuine hospitality, work neatly and cleanly, and have the ability to multi-task and work in a team environment. The food runner delivers food, is able to describe items, replenishes supplies and acts as a liaison between the Front of House and Back of House staff.

The Requirements
As a food runner, we would love you to have:
At least 1-2 years of experience in as a server assistant, food runner or host in a related field, preferably in hotels or restaurants
Convey information and ideas with clarity and genuine warmth and hospitality
Knowledge and passion for seafood
Able to perform in a team serving environment
High School Diploma or equivalent. Some college preferred
Ability to stand during entire shift
Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Ability to lift 30 lbs
The Restaurant
Loch Bar opened in the Lone Star State in Summer 2019. Located in the ultra-trendy River Oaks District, Loch Bar is a classic seafood tavern and whiskey bar that offers live music 7 days a week. Centered around one of Houston’s most impressive raw bars with over a dozen varieties of east coast and gulf oysters, the food menu also features many of the regions favorite seafood dishes. Loch Bar’s beverage program is headlined by one of the area’s most substantial whiskey lists with selections from around the world. Local craft beer and handcrafted cocktails are served by our dedicated bar staff.
