Seeking Restaurant & Bar Manager for high volume Beer Garden on the Lower East Side to Start IMMEDIATELY! We are a fast paced, high volume, FUN [sober] place to work. We are offering a FULL TIME, Salaried position to start. Competitive salary. Health benefits available after 3 months.
MUST be available to start working immediately! Must have night time, weekend & brunch availability.
The Basics
- Minimum 2 years management experience in an NYC High Volume Restaurant
- Have a big personality and big smile
- Know how to talk to large groups, answer phones, go the extra mile for guests
- Multi-task!!
- Please be a team player!
- Knowledge of German food & Beer a plus, but not required
Specifics
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop an upscale casual FOH staff
- Experience with Micros POS back office and front of house procedures
- Advanced understanding of Department of Health Regulations & Procedures
- Advanced knowledge of all roles in the front of house
- Basic knowledge of all roles in the back of house
- Experience running an efficient bar, inventory, and ordering system
- Advanced beer, wine and cocktail knowledge
- Perform well in potentially high stress situations
- Resolve conflict while maintaining positive working relationships
- Comfortable and accurate when counting money
- Intermediate computer knowledge required
