Scope 

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Bank Housekeeper to join the Loveday team. The role will involve providing an efficient and confidential administration service to our care home.

Main duties and responsibilities

  • To carry out daily housekeeping services in member suites and public areas.
  • To ensure that all areas are always clean and tidy to the Loveday standards.
  • To undertake member laundry and pressing if required.
  • To assist members with any housekeeping requests
  • To assist with linen and stock management.
  • Ensure that the daily work is completed to the set hygiene standards
  • Attend initial and update mandatory training as required. Actively engage in personal professional supervision including quarterly one-to-one meetings and yearly performance review, ensuring personal professional knowledge and competency is maintained.
  • Wear the uniform provided and ensure that it is kept clean and presentable at all times.
  • Take reasonable care of your own health and safety, and that of other persons who may be affected by your actions and carry out your responsibilities in ways that ensure a safe and healthy place of work.
  • Undertake other duties at the discretion of the Head Housekeeper and the General Manager.

Eligibility

In line with the requirements of the Asylum & Immigration Act 1996, all applicants must either be eligible to live and work in the UK or must obtain permits to work in the UK prior to application. Documented evidence of eligibility will be required from candidates as part of the recruitment process.
