Job Position:
Event Sales Manager

Overview:
The Event Sales Manager for Lucques Catering is responsible for the development of sales, managing client relationships, coordinating all details for each event and delivering exceptional levels of service to our clients.

Reports to: Managing Director

Direct Reports: Catering Coordinators

Responsibilities:
• Actively developing new and existing client relationships with a goal of growing the sales for Lucques Catering Group.
• Detailed event planning to ensure the successful planning and execution for each client’s event.
• Managing special menu requests for the client with the Executive Chef.
• Submitting all required event-planning documents on time with accurate information and event details.
• Maintaining clear communication with clients, vendors and support teams to ensure that each event is produced successfully.
• Submit all client payment requests and secure payment prior to event date.
• Follow up on all account receivables with client to ensure all outstanding balances are paid in a timely fashion.
• Coordinate event planning site visits as required with the necessary team.
• Extend brand awareness and client outreach through active selling, networking and industry-related activities.
• Attend all company meetings as required
• Develop Sales Materials necessary to maintain and grow company sales volume.
• Achieve/Exceed Annual Sales Budget

Qualifications:
• 3-5 years experience as an event sales manager for an off-premise catering company or full-service hotel.
• Bachelor's Degree in hospitality, event planning or restaurant management.
• Proficient working knowledge in software to manage daily workload including Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Catering Software.
• Must have a driver’s license and vehicle.
