Position Summary: 

All Back-of-House Team Members maintain outstanding customer service in processing orders quickly, accurately and efficiently, safeguard company assets, clean food preparation equipment and work area, and organize, load and unload inventory, and put merchandise away.  Prepare food for customers, prep and maintain proper levels of food for shifts.  


Line Cook tasks may include, ensuring that ingredients are stored properly and maintaining an inventory of food and other items needed for the grill station.  In addition to preparing grilled foods, a line cook may also fry, bake, or microwave meat and poultry as part of their duties.  They may also cut or carve meat, assemble measure and mix other ingredients for dishes.  


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Creates a positive work environment while striving to fulfill and execute our Mission Statement 

Follows and maintains food safety, HACCP process

Daily communication with upper management

Monitoring quality and cleanliness of food and store environment

Completes other duties as assigned by supervisor

Ability to work well independently and in a team environment 

Ability to multitask and prioritize task

Takes  pride in serving guests and providing exceptional customer service 

Takes pride in preparing quality food made to Miguel’s standards

Ability to lift up to 30+ pounds

Ability to do repetitive motion (mixing the beans)

Ability to prepare and cook food (Example – lettuce, cheese, tomato)

Ability to stand for long periods of time

Excellent verbal communication skills

High School Diploma or Equivalent
