Description
Margot Patisserie is looking for a Baker/Pastry cook can prepare all different kinds of traditional french pastry and carry breakfast and lunch items.
Pastry: croissant, french pastry, cakes, tarts and En Clair, cookies etc.,
Breakfast and Lunch items: eggs, sandwiches, soups, quiches, salad, etc.,

We are looking for a good baker/pastry cook to round out the kitchen for our french bakery. The Baker can meet the daily production goals for baked goods. When baking viennoiseries, you will prepare or thaw the dough, then shape and fill them as needed. The Baker will bake or prepare items according to Margot Patisserie specific recipes and will ensure that the products produced in the bakery meet our quality standards while maintaining a clean and sanitary food area.

We are looking for someone love to bake and creative.

Introduction / Job Description

Baker/Pastry Cooks responsibilities include preparing quality pastry items such as desserts, pastries, viennoiseries.
Savory items preparation.

Duties & Responsibilities

1) Can open at 5:00 am for baking. Cleanliness and working conditions of all tools, equipment and supplies
2) Operate Mixer and Sheeter
3) Preparing the dough, letting them rise, shaping them, proofing them, and finally baking and cooling them
4) Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment; use equipment and tools only as intended, properly and safely
5) Maintain and strictly abide by state sanitation/health regulations
6) Check production schedule
7) Establish priority items for the day
8) Prepare all menu items following recipes and yield guides

Requirements:

1) Requirements Proficient in English.
2) Ability to stand on your feet for several hours
3) High School diploma or equivalent
4) Can lift 40 lbs
5) Demonstrates adequate baking skills and operations
