Description
CAVA is a leading culinary brand with a portfolio of chef-driven fast casual restaurants and a premium line of dips & spreads dedicated to fresh, Mediterranean inspired, better-for-you cuisine. Born from a full service restaurant collaboration between three first-generation Greek American childhood friends in the Washington, D.C. area, our restaurants are currently in four regions with further expansion ahead.

CAVA is seeking a happy, empathetic, and diligent Customer Experience Associate. As a member of the Customer Experience team, your primary role will be helping our customers over email and social media. You’ll provide stellar customer service online and report feedback to CAVA stakeholders, including our restaurant teams.

This position can be remote and will include night and weekend hours. Our ideal candidate is someone with a naturally positive attitude, strong social intuition, and excellent written communication. You will be representing the CAVA brand and we’re looking for someone whose enthusiasm and thoughtfulness shines through every interaction with our customers.

You will:

• Answer customer inquiries using Zendesk or social media platforms, including review websites (e.g. Yelp and TripAdvisor).
• Respond to product issues and requests online in a timely manner with the highest level of customer service and enthusiasm.
• Use CAVA’s reporting system to tag every inquiry appropriately and send accurate information to stakeholders.
• Study the CAVA menu, experience, and product regularly, as well as stay up to date on changes with our seasonal menu and ingredient changes in order to service our customers.
• Use Gmail, Slack, and Zoom to communicate with the internal team.

You have:

• Customer service experience
• Impeccable spelling, grammar, and communication skills
• Weekend and evening availability
• An up-to-date, working laptop computer with screen sharing capability
• If you have a second job, we prefer it not be a full-time position
• Zendesk and Slack experience are a plus
• Retail or restaurant experience is a plus
