CAVA is a fast-growing culinary brand with a portfolio of fast-casual restaurants and a packaged goods line dedicated to fresh, Mediterranean-inspired, better-for-you cuisine. Born from a full-service restaurant collaboration between three first-generation Greek-American childhood friends in the Washington, DC, area, our chef-driven fast-casual format currently has more than 50 restaurants, with further expansion ahead.

We‘re looking for a talented, nimble Lead Video Producer who’s willing to do whatever it takes to make an outstanding product. Part director, part camera operator, part editor – our ideal Lead Video Producer will help us tell compelling and thoughtful stories that generate rich and measurable engagement. This position will report to the Creative Director, and will collaboratively create unique, compelling visual content with the creative team to elevate our brand, will oversee a Junior Videographer to collaboratively create unique, compelling visual content to elevate our brand.

You will:

• Work closely with the Creative Director and design team to craft a creative campaign strategy
• Manage and produce projects of a wide variety, including signature brand and marketing projects, tactical social media videos, and internal training content
• Lead projects through every phase of production including creative development, pre-production, production/shooting, post-production, finishing/delivery
• Provide photography direction and creative direction on video projects
• Push for innovation while keeping up with current trends in filming, production, narrative, animation, and gear, but know how to be scrappy with budgets
• Enhance and protect existing video standards and best practices in alignment with the creative team
• Develop and manage scopes of work and budget parameters for projects
• Obtain film permits when required, find crew when necessary, and recognize when and which gear to rent as needed
• Lead communications with internal clients and stakeholders
• Grow the video program over the coming year with potential for hiring a team
• Establish, evaluate, and optimize performance metrics

You have:

• 4+ years of commercial/corporate video work
• Strong work ethic and a passion for producing best-in-class work, no matter the task
• Established portfolio/reel that showcases expertise in storytelling
• Expertise in video production from pre-production to post
• The ability to produce quality work while juggling multiple assignments in different stages of production with efficiency and attention to detail
• Experience managing a small team is a plus
• Ability to direct both crew and talent respectfully and comfortably
• Knowledge of safe set and redundant data/post-production practices
• Familiarity with using both DSLRs and cinema cameras, such as the Sony FS7 and Canon 5D and the ability to troubleshoot issues on the fly
• Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere and intermediate proficiency in After Effects, Audition, and DaVinci Resolve, as well as familiarity in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Photoshop and Illustrator)
• An ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment and adapt to
 evolving responsibilities
