The role:
A highly motivated, data-driven, and creative individual to join our Brand & Marketing team. The Email Marketing Specialist will be responsible for managing and executing highly engaging email campaigns for CAVA and Zoës Kitchen brands.

Responsibilities:
• Own the email marketing programs for CAVA and Zoës Kitchen including development of content calendar, segmentation rules, review and approval processes, email execution, and post-campaign reporting.
• Implement best practices for maintaining a healthy and engaged subscriber list and manage all tags/segments.
• Support copywriting for all emails.
• Set-up and QA all email campaigns, maintaining keen attention-to-detail and high standards for accuracy, clarity, spelling, and grammar.
• Assist CRM Manager with segmentation and targeting strategies to drive hyper-personalized experiences across the customer journey.
• Build reports/dashboards to analyze performance of email marketing campaigns and provide actionable recommendations and improvements.
• Collaborate with CAVA’s creative team on innovative campaign and content ideas.
• Support market research and customer research efforts via email channel (i.e. distribution of surveys, invitation for focus groups, etc.).
• Stay ahead of industry trends by maintaining a thorough understanding of digital marketing best practices, new tools, relevant industry benchmarks, and KPIs.

The skills:
• A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, and/or communications.
• 3-5 years of marketing experience running email campaigns and programs at a consumer product company, e-commerce company, media company, or marketing agency.
• A deep understanding of email marketing best practices, including but not limited to – A/B testing, segmentation, targeting, rules and triggers, list management, IP monitoring, and deliverability tracking.
• Hands-on experience working with ESP and marketing automation platforms.
• Strong analytical skills to build post-campaign reports and performance dashboards.
• Understanding of how to use customer data to develop segments for personalized targeting and messaging across channels.
• Basic understanding of CRM, digital marketing, and marketing technology landscape and trends.
• Creative mindset to assist with engaging campaign and content ideas.
• Excellent organizational skills and extreme attention-to-detail.
• Excellent analytical and project management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
