Description
Bar Manager will be responsible for managing all bar operations and for delivering an excellent guest experience. The Bar Manager will report to the General Manager and Head of Mixology and will work with the Assistant General Manager and other bar staff. The successful candidate will be able to forecast, plan, and manage all beverage orders, staff, and finance. The goal is to maximize sales and revenue through guest satisfaction and employee engagement. Bartender will also upsell items, create recipes, utilize proper equipment and ingredients, and handle basic cleaning duties.
Responsibilities: (This includes but is not limited to)
• Ensure excellent direction in the standards and practices of the Bar Program
• Maintain a high-quality, high-functioning bar
• Guarantee high performance and profitability while maintaining overall excellence & hospitality throughout each day’s specific service periods
• Ensure knowledge of and adherence to all applicable laws, policies, and procedures
• Continuously build a high-performance team
• Properly mix, pour, and serve all drinks for not only the bar guests but restaurant guests as well.
• Respond to guests’ questions while suggestively selling drinks appetizers, specials, etc.
• Work with other bartenders as well as with servers, bussers, back servers, and managers to create an enjoyable environment for our guests.
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2-3 years’ experience required
• Dependability-job requires being reliable, responsible, and dependable, and fulfilling obligations.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Basic math and computer skills
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Team player is MUST
• Strong task and time management abilities
• Eye for detail and understanding of drink mixing tools and techniques
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, etc. for extended periods, and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Maintaining composure, keeping emotions in check, controlling anger, and avoiding aggressive behavior, even in difficult situations

East. Executive Chef Colin King pulls inspiration from South American cuisines with a Mexican focus. It
starts in the agave fields of Jalisco, Mexico, and ends with the finest tequila in the world. In our Patrón
Tasting Room, you will learn about the tequila-making process, the difference in flavors, and the proper
way to taste. Our Spanish-style outdoor courtyard, complete with a full bar, features stunning stone
architecture, ornate fountains, and panoramic views of Baltimore’s Inner Harbor.
