Head Runner (30 hours/week)

 Mission: Deliver high-quality service to all guests in the restaurant in a prompt and efficient manner, adhering to operational standards and relevant legal requirements.

 

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

· Demonstrate high-quality customer care, professionalism, and maintaining a respectful and polished appearance.

·  Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival, addressing returning guests by name whenever possible to create a personalized experience.

·  Be thoroughly knowledgeable about all food and beverage offerings, capable of describing menu items clearly and helpfully.

·  Support guests in selecting their orders and encourage additional purchases. Respond confidently to any menu-related questions.

·  Take and relay food and beverage orders promptly to the kitchen or bar for preparation.

·  Address guest questions promptly and refer complaints or compliments to the duty manager as necessary. Always be familiar with the hotel’s complaint-handling procedures.

·  Ensure all cutlery, crockery, glassware, and other service items are prepared for use. Maintain cleanliness and order in all service-related areas before, during, and after shifts.

 

What are we looking for?

  • Customer service skills
  • Be able to stand for a long period of time
  • Fluency in English
  • Excellent grooming and presentation standards

 The successful candidate must already have eligibility to work in the UK.
