Are you a talented qualified/part qualified accountant with a proven track record within a hospitality environment? Well, we have the perfect role for you!

Megan's has a fantastic opportunity to join our growing finance function. We are still a small, but rapidly growing business and therefore this will be a very “hands-on” role and varied role. You will work closely with the Finance Director and other senior members of the management team. You should have capability and desire to grow into a full Finance controller over the next twelve to eighteen months as the business grows.


The Role 

You will: 

  • Prepare of the weekly and monthly business critical “flash” and P&L information reports 
  • Deliver month-end reporting, management accounts; controlling expenditure and cash flow 
  • Take ownership of statutory compliance reporting, payments and correspondence with tax and other authorities 
  • Drive improvements and effectiveness of the control environment across the finance team
  • Delivering improvement projects across finance and non-finance teams 
  • Assisting with the preparation of year-end accounts and audit process 
  • Supporting the Finance Director with business budgeting and cash flow forecasting 
  • Other ad-hoc finance initiatives, analysis and project work as appropriate. 

 You will be:

  • Have a proven track record within a restaurant setting  
  • Newly qualified/ Part-qualified 
  • Experience with statutory reporting & systems (Comtrex, Xero)
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Able to communicate with stakeholders at all levels
  • Adaptable to the needs of a growing business that will invest in your personal development.
We are on track to double the number of restaurants in our portfolio over the next twelve months. This role will be a vital part of our wider Support Office team and will offer great opportunities for you professional development.
