I grew up in a military household, and from an early age It was instilled in me that there are two types of people; hardworking, or passive. I know I am a hardworking individual who is eager to do what is best for the team and not just for oneself. I believe that as a team, anything is possible. After I graduated high school, I stayed in my new state of New Mexico, while my family moved to the next assignment across the country. I enlisted in the Marine Corps, and served until I knew I wanted something different. With the same values I learned growing up, I moved into the hospitality industry. From there I worked my way from dishwasher, to busser, to server at a mid-range steakhouse. Once I learned I had a natural ability to handle stress and multitasking in a busy environment, I moved into fine dining. From there I became the lead server in a boutique hotel restaurant which hosted many events and V.I.P guests. I recently traveled to Italy for just under 3 months to learn about the culture and work on my artistic pursuits as an actor and film editor. I have arrived in New York with a drive to continue on learning in the ever growing hospitality industry, so I can bring joy like it has been brought to me.
