The HRIS Analyst works closely with the Director of HR to enhance HR processes. Some responsibilities include:

Creating, maintaining and analyzing various HR metrics, to include focusing on workforce, recruiting, and labor data
Designing and implementing reports to help make informed decisions
Assisting internal customers with refining requirements for report requests
Automating processes using software applications (HRIS) to maximize department effectiveness/productivity
Managing company HRIS, to include access & security, imports & exports, and ensuring data integrity
Collaborating with cost and utilization analysis of Company’s health benefit plans and workers compensation
Generating, collecting, and presenting reports and data in support of the Company’s salary review process
Assisting with annual 401(k) audit and weekly contributions import
Assisting with and supporting departmental compliance, to include ACA tracking/reporting, and ERISA compliance
Reconciling invoices to include health and voluntary benefits, addressing any discrepancies
Supporting and assisting with other projects, research, and reporting as needed

We’re looking for someone who has:

2-3 years of experience working in the same or similar capacity
Basic knowledge of employment laws, HR principles, and concepts
Experience with ADP WorkforceNow (this is not required, but strongly preferred)
Advanced Microsoft Excel experience. Must know Pivot tables and vlookups
Strong analytical skills
Knowledge and support of company philosophy / mission / values

And someone who is:

Stable and graceful under pressure
Willing to go above and beyond
Able to work independently, yet collaborate effectively
A great listener who can think on their feet, distill information, and ask appropriate follow-up questions
Articulate and solutions-oriented with customers, vendors, management, and staff

Additional Info:

This full-time position is based out of our Central Store Support office in Rockville, MD. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, though some scheduling flexibility may be required 3-4 times per year.
