The Grocery & Wellness Buyer works with MOM’s Warehouse to support our 21 store locations. Some responsibilities include:

Purchasing and placing orders for MOM’s Warehouse
Controlling inventory by overseeing on-hands in Warehouse and OOS levels in stores
Troubleshooting and solving problems around vendor service levels, logistics, etc.
Communicating pertinent information to multiple different departments (Warehouse, Coordinators, store teams, etc)
Maintaining items in Catapult
Working with data, forecasting, and reporting
Taking on and executing other projects as needed

We’re looking for someone who has:

Purchasing/buying experience with a focus on accuracy and reducing waste
Troubleshooting and problem solving capabilities
Experience and comfortability working with Catapult
Exceptional communication & interpersonal skills
The ability to acquire understanding and absorb information rapidly
And someone who is:

Skilled in Excel, Pivot Tables, and Google Suite
Analytical and able to draw conclusions from data
Comfortable managing unpredictable situations while still meeting hard deadlines
Stable and graceful under pressure
Articulate and solutions-oriented with customers, vendors, management, and staff
Comfortable with receiving candor

Additional Information:

This full-time position is based out of MOM’s Central Store Support Office in Rockville, MD and requires once weekly travel to the Warehouse in Jessup, MD
The Grocery & Wellness Buyer works closely with the Accurate Purchasing Manager, Warehouse Manager, and COO
The typical schedule is Monday through Friday
