Executive Chef - Baltimore’s Classic French Brasserie and Dinner Theatre
The Role
The Executive Chef works as part of the management team of the restaurant to build sales and grow the business through moments that surprise, details that delight and flavors that linger long after the last plate is cleared. The Executive Chef position reports to the Corporate Chef and will supervise daily operations of the kitchen and staff in accordance with defined food and operations programs to set standards

The Requirements
• 5-6 years of related cooking experience working in a similar volume business
• Culinary trained and professional who is passionate and curious to develop and grow as a Chef
• Strong management skills
• Coach and develop hourly employees to ensure you get the best results from them and to allow them the opportunity to
grow within the organization.
• Maintains local health department food handler’s certification up to date and current
• Continuously create and develop menus appropriate to the concept of the restaurant and in line with the direction of
the concept.
• A passion for food, exceptional work ethic, and dedication
• Dependability-job requires being reliable, responsible, and dependable, and fulfilling obligations.
• Effectively control costs on all items to meet or exceed budgeted food cost
• Ability to stand for extended periods, and lift 40+ lbs.
• Maintaining composure, keeping emotions in check, controlling anger, and avoiding aggressive behavior, even in difficult
situations
The Restaurant
The Atlas Restaurant Group presents Monarque, a French Brasserie and Dinner Theatre located in Baltimore’s Harbor East. Monarque will showcase Baltimore’s performers, poets, actors, and musicians. The restaurant will be adorned with traditional French embellishments and the cuisine will feature French classics including a wide selection of cheeses and one of the largest French wine lists in town. Restaurant slated to open Spring of 2020; by joining us now you can ensure the best possible onboarding experience!
