Nada, a reimagining of Latin American cuisine with craveable twists on the classics and border-blurring dishes inspired by food from around the globe. We want our guests to escape the ordinary with a bright, bold, and hip space where friends can meet to enjoy tacos, small plates, and more with a menu designed for sharing or sampling different flavors on your own. 


The team’s main responsibility is to develop culinary staff, uphold standards, and deliver consistently flavorful dishes for our guests. This job is focused on teaching traditional techniques, while using the best products available. We focus on teaching, learning, and push to obsess over details.


Executive Chef Responsibilities:

+ Leading a team of 2 salaried sous chefs and an hourly kitchen staff 5-20 people

+ Coaching your sous chefs to effectively manage workload and working relationships

+ Recruiting, hiring, and training of line, prep, and dishwasher employees

+ Collaborating with Front of House management to plan and execute lunch and dinner service daily

+ Assist chefs and fellow kitchen staff as needed to execute a successful service

+ Skillfully apply culinary techniques, including proficient butchery of fish and meats

+ Demonstrate a working knowledge of all kitchen equipment

+ Effectively execute recipes; adhere to yield guides and properly rotate, store, label and date all products

+ Responsible for overall food and labor cost for operation.  

 

Qualifications:

+ 2 years executive chef experience in full-service, fast-paced, from-scratch kitchens

+ Demonstrate excellent attention to detail

+ Strong communication skills to delegate tasks to the team 

+ Work in a team environment

+ Displays a sense of urgency

+ Previous kitchen experience in a full-service, high-volume restaurant is preferred
