As Deputy Manager, we empower you to play a significant role in helping us fulfil our mission. You are going to be responsible for the management & development of your team. You will be able to shape how the restaurant becomes one of our busiest & most profitable.

Main tasks & responsibilities:

  • Effectively managing all aspects of the restaurant's operation.
  • Delivering hot, fresh, and quality food in a clean and friendly environment, giving customers an exceptional experience each time they visit.
  • Creating a positive atmosphere for our customers and the team.
  • Be inspiring! Be able to make people passionate about good food.
  • Training, leading, motivating, and empowering your team to strive for excellence.
  • Maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the restaurant.
  • Upholding the Neds Noodle Bar standards in all aspects of the operation.
  • Serving fresh dishes to hundreds of customers every day.
  • Establishing a good supportive relationship with the community.
  • Planning and projecting monthly P&L, analyzing, presenting, and recapping results.
  • Managing budgets and keeping costs under control.
  • Ensuring that all procedures are complying with the law.
  • Auditing stock levels to ensure product availability.

Requirements:

  • Solid background in a busy hospitality environment preferably from the QSR sector.
  • Minimum 2 years of proven experience in a managerial role.
  • Wok cooking experience is a definite advantage but knowing the corporate kitchen operation is essential.
  • Basic IT and maths skills are required.
  • Fluent verbal and written English is a must.
  • A bachelor's degree is preferred but an A-level or equivalent qualification is essential.
  • Thrive for high standards and consistency.
  • Reliable and excited to be a key part of leading and developing a happy and passionate team.
  • Upbeat, approachable, chatty, human-loving personality.
  • Keen to learn new things and ready to adopt new ways of managing and developing people.
  • Be passionate about great food.
  • Excellent eye for detail and a strong understanding of stock, finance, and operation management.
  • Be good at working in a team as well as individually.
  • Be able to work full-time, be available to work some evenings, weekends, and holidays.
