Server/Bartender (Dual position)

The Altamarea Group, a NYC based restaurant group, has opened its newest venture in DC in the Mt. Vernon Triangle neighborhood, Nicoletta Italian Kitchen and Brew'd. We are selectively looking for individuals who have an entrepreneurial spirit and who thrive in an environment that demands excellence in every dimension. Inspired by the cuisine of acclaimed chef, Michael White, this restaurant offers Italian cuisine worldwide: prosciutto, mortadella, parmigiano, alongside with other signature dishes including meatballs, handmade pastas, and house-made gelato. Nicoletta Italian Kitchen will be under the leadership of Executive Chef, Bill Dorrler, Director, Jonna Gerlich and General Manager, Taylor Trone.

We are seeking for a dual position professional for Server/Bartender position who is interested in working in a high quality and high volume environment. We are looking for staff that has a passion for food, beverage and hospitality paired with a strong work ethic and desire to be part of a team.

Responsibilities for Servers include:
• Manage and oversee the dining experience of each guest
• Engage with guests to create an exceptional and memorable experience
• Work as a team player to meet the demands of the restaurant

Responsibilities for Bartenders include:
• Welcome guests and make suggestions regarding food and beverages
• Maintain a clean and properly stocked bar area
• Prepare drinks in a timely manner according to the restaurant’s recipe

Requirements:

• Must have open availability and able to work flexible hours
• Passion for the hospitality industry
• Willing to learn and work as a team player
• Able to remain calm and organized in a high-volume environment
• Strong communication skills, organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
• Candidate should demonstrate an energetic and friendly personality
• Prior food service and customer service experience preferred
