Runner/Busser

Nitehawk Cinema is currently seeking runners for our new opening in Prospect Park. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fun, fast-paced environment, with a team of amazing people. We pride ourselves on being able to provide our guests with a uniquely hand-crafted dining experience. From the movies we show, events we host, food we serve, and drinks we prepare, Nitehawk Cinema brings the magic of the silver screen right to your seat. If you have a love for film, food, booze, and hospitality, we're waiting to meet you!

Full weekend availability as well as one or two weekdays. We are open 365 days a year, so holiday availability is required.

Runner qualifications:
- Very physically demanding positions
- Daily preparation of fixins' and condiments for service
- Operation and maintenance of the popcorn machine
- Preparation of popcorn for service
- Making sure every ticket is properly checked before running food
- Accurately running food items to the proper seat positions
- Efficiently and effectively running and bussing tables through rows
- Helping to enforce all theater policies
- Assisting the Server Team to clean each theater between screenings
- Performing the daily and weekly side work as outlined by Management
- Maintenance of public spaces such as sweeping, dusting, placement of floor mats during inclement weather
- Helping to assist bartenders when needed

This is a new opening. We will train Runners for several days and go through multiple soft openings before opening to the general public. Opening experience is a huge plus. Flexibility to adjust on the spot is crucial.
