Counter Person/Barista

OatMeals, a fast-paced oatmeal specialty cafe, is looking for part & full time counter staff/baristas. Weekends are a must - early morning or afternoon shifts available.

We are looking for dedicated, passionate, customer-service oriented team members.
Members of our team are expected to have POS and coffee knowledge as well as be comfortable with menu memorization and regular communication with the team on inventory, customer service, and special promotions.

Requirements:
-A genuine passion and knowledge for oatmeal, pastries, and coffee
-Greets customers and takes food orders
-Memorization of the menu, provides information about products to customers
-Prepares all drink orders and food packaging to OatMeals standards - espresso knowledge needed
-Operates a cash register, accurately counts and provides change to customers
-Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high volume, providing a positive example for the team
-Sociable and friendly to customers. Must have a positive attitude.
-Ability to take direction from management, work well on a small team
-Must have ability to lift 50 lbs.
