Description

Osteria Morini brings the soulful cuisine and convivial spirit of Emilia-Romagna in northern Italy to local vibrant neighborhoods. The menus at Osteria Morini center around the Northern Italian ingredients that have become hallmarks of Italian cuisine - balsamic, Parmigiano Reggiano, mortadella, and prosciutto, to name a few. Signature fresh pastas are made in-house daily and featured alongside simply prepared grilled meats, seafood and salads. Desserts are simple and classic, like tiramisu or chocolate budino. Beverage is made up of a robust Italian wine and cocktail list.

Osteria Morini operates as part of Altamarea Group, an award-winning, multiple Michelin Star, global hospitality firm with 12 restaurants worldwide. Altamarea Group, through its talented team of employees, creates special memories through exceptional hospitality, delivering the highest level of food and service across distinct brands and concepts.

We are seeking a Restaurant Manager with prior relevant experience and a genuine desire to be part of a talented team and a highly acclaimed restaurant. The candidate needs to be highly motivated and effective at working in a fast-paced team environment and have a proven successful track record. 

Responsibilities include:
• Lead management team through directives and goals
• Monitor and track business results and forecast respectively 
• Communicate effectively across all facets and departments
• Demonstrate an emphasis on driving business while improving quality and guest retention
• Performing high level of customer/guest service and guest interaction by exhibiting friendly personality and engaging guest consistently
• Running food, bussing tables, putting together catering and delivery orders
• Supervision of staff and guest 

Requirements:
• Must have open availability able to work flexible hours
• Strong background in fine dining and knowledge of service standards
• Passion for the hospitality industry and providing great service 
• Candidates should be highly organized, efficient, and be able to work precisely
• Must be capable, trustworthy, have integrity, and have experience solving problems.
• Ability to multitask and plan ahead
• Ability to train and encourage the restaurant staff
• Candidates should have an optimistic, positive disposition as well as an empathetic attitude
• Candidates should demonstrate creativity and a commitment to brand success
• Barista experience is a plus
