The Role
The Server’s primary responsibility is to create an uncompromising dining experience throughout the guest’s visit. Our servers demonstrate genuine hospitality, work neatly and cleanly, and have the ability to multitask and work in a team environment. The server answers questions about the menu, sells the restaurant's food and drinks, and communicates orders with the kitchen staff while maintaining a warm and friendly demeanor

The Requirements
As a Server, we would love you to have:
At least 1-2 years of experience in fine dining restaurants as a server
Convey information and ideas with clarity and genuine warmth and hospitality
Knowledge and passion for Greek cuisine and Greek wine is a plus
Able to perform in a team serving environment
Must have a working knowledge of Micros or any POS system
High School Diploma or equivalent. Some college preferred
Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays – REQUIRED
Ability to stand during entire shift
Ability to lift 30 lbs
The Restaurant
Serving Mediterranean cuisine with a modern Greek influence, Ouzo Bay opened in Summer 2019 at the main entrance of Houston’s chic River Oaks District. Highlighted by fresh seafood flown in daily from around the world, Ouzo Bay’s menu includes a variety of whole fish that are charcoal grilled and deboned like the Aegean Bronzino (Greece), Dover Sole (Holland) and Kona Kampachi (Hawaii). Boasting one of Texas’s largest Greek wine lists, Ouzo Bay’s beverage program also features handcrafted cocktails that can be enjoyed in our bar and lounge complete with a live DJ every Wednesday through Saturday night.
