Host/Hostess

Celtic Developers Group is looking for an Host/Hostess to join our team at Papillon Bistro & Bar, our Midtown East location. Celtic Developers Group consists of four bustling locations in Union Square, Times Square, Midtown East, & NoMad which focus on harboring good “craic” in a stunning environment. All of our high volume locations have fun bars where our guests feel like family. At Celtic Developers Group we hope to provide an extravagant environment where every night is made better with just a touch of sophisticated debauchery.

The Host/Hostess’ Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Represent the restaurant as soon as guests walk though the door, greeting warmly and thanking them as they leave
-Fielding all phone calls for reservations, large events, and information requests
-Designing and overseeing the seating charge for packed corporate lunch hours and busy happy hours
-Develop relationships with our guests, remembering them by name and always making them feel at home
-Interact with guests guiding some drinking games once a week during our Thursday Thrills event
-Help cultivate the "good time" vibe in our space with great energy and an infectious smile

Required Skills:
-Extraordinary natural affinity for customer service
-Ability to interact with guests while maintaining a state of warm professionalism
-Excellent attention
-Ability to multi-task
-NYC restaurant experience is a plus, but not required
