Key responsibilities at the reception day and night:

  • Excellent team player with strong communication skills, you will have a passion for delivering a great customer experience
  • Participates in the prompt and courteous check in and check out of guests
  • Responds to guest requests for information about the hotel and its surroundings
  • Arranges for special services requested by the guest
  • Performs night audit duties as required
  • Achieves departmental targets for guest satisfaction, room revenue and company initiatives and promotions by supervising the Front Office operation
  • A positive approach, excellent organisational skills, and a passion for producing high quality customer care
  • Driven and ambitious to inspire the team to consistently deliver and exceed service standards
  • Able to work indenpedently 
  • SAP system experience is a plus 

Key responsibilities in the kitchen:

  • Prepares and properly garnishes food orders as they are received in accordance with recipes and proper plate presentation
  • Supervises and supports team members in own section to achieve optimum quality
  • Follows proper safety, hygiene, and sanitation practices at all times

Key responsibilities in the restaurant:

  • Serves guests in a prompt and courteous manner in accordance with Food & Drink service standards
  • Promotes additional sales by taking opportunities to up-sell
  • Maintains a thorough working knowledge of the food & drink menus items to be able to advise guests on selection and promote additional sales accordingly

Requirements of the Guest Service Agent:

-Experience in hospitality
-Hands-on approach with a can-do work style
-Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service with a passion for the hospitality industry
-Ability to find creative solutions taking ownership for duties and tasks assigned
-Personal integrity, with the ability to work in an environment that demands excellence
-Experience of working with IT systems on various platforms
-Strong communication skills

Initially 6-month fixed-term contracts proposed.

The Park Inn by Radisson Brussels Midi Hotel provides guests with easy access to dining, shopping and cultural attractions in Brussels. The Gare du Midi, the city’s largest train station lies across the street.

The 142 guest rooms feature soundproofing and the on-site RBG Bar & Grill serves grilled fare and an extensive selection of Belgian beers. The hotel features a fitness centre and 5 flexible meeting spaces that can accommodate up to 70 delegates for conferences and up to 150 guests for cocktails in a naturally lit, climate-controlled atmosphere.
