Line Cook

Pennsylvania 6 NYC, 155 seat Regional American Restaurant is looking for Line Cooks with volume upscale dining experience.


Responsibilities:

Set up and stock stations
Prep stations daily
Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared to our specifications
Report directly to Chef and Sous Chef
Clean up station and take care of leftover food
Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards

Requirements:

Proven cooking experience in an upscale restaurant
Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
Weekend availability a must
