POSITION TITLE: FRONT OF HOUSE STAFF

DEPARTMENT: PRC/ Food and Beverage

PURPOSE OF POSITION: We are looking for bright, talented and enthusiastic individuals to join and grow with our family. The restaurant staff is dedicated to providing quality service that exceeds guest expectations and works together to create guests for life, by proactively embracing service standards, adhering to safety regulations and gaining the knowledge to assist guests with any and all needs.

Our restaurant focuses on seasonal and progressive cuisine, with a high emphasis placed on hospitality and culture.
We are looking for individuals with dedication to their craft that are also passionate and eager to be a part of our family. Requirements:
Minimum of two years’ experience working in a fast-paced, upscale restaurant environment
Flexible schedule and ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Current Food Handler’s certificate preferred

REPORTS TO: F&B Supervisor, F&B Manager, Director of Food & Beverage, and General Manager

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:

Our ideal candidate possesses an excellent work ethic, a positive attitude and a natural aptitude for absorbing new information quickly. They are essential with product preparation and service, cleanliness of the environment, and equipment handling and maintenance in contribution to a positive guest experience.

Flexibility in schedule is required. Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.


JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education and/or Experience:
• •High school diploma preferred.
•Prior experience within a full-service hotel property is required.

Language Skills:
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with other departments, guests, and others in English.
• Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
• Ability to diplomatically deal with difficult situations and people, while exhibiting a consistent level of professionalism.



Physical Ability:
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 10-25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
• Moving about the kitchen.
• Handling food, objects, products and utensils.
• Required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects.
• Regularly required to stand, walk, and talk or hear, bending, stooping, and kneeling.
• Must be able to stand for 8+ hours per day.

Other:
• Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Must have a strong attention to detail.
• Must be able to communication effectively.
• Must have CA Food handling certificate.
