Description
Bohemian Boutique Hotel in West Hollywood seeks a well groomed, fast moving and generally interesting individual to fill the position of our rooftop backserver.

An 80 all-suite hotel, featuring a Private Rooftop with a Garden, indoor/ outdoor lounge spaces, a saltwater pool and 360 degree views of the Hollywood hills -- our hotel attracts an eclectic, elegant and largely European clientele. We operate on the premise that excellent customer service can be delivered to our guests while our staff maintains a familial, respectful, positive and fun working environment.

Our ideal candidate possess an excellent work ethic, a positive attitude and a natural aptitude for absorbing new information quickly. As our rooftop backserver, you will assist the servers with coffee, running food, taking orders and bussing. Keeping our rooftop clean, organized and our customers happy is your number one priority. Experience in restaurant is required. Knowledge of Coffee preferred!

Flexibility in Schedule Required. AM Shift is 6:30am-3PM. PM Shifts are 3:30pm- 11:30PM, 6pm-2:30am

Requirements:

Education and/or Experience:

•High school diploma; some college preferred.
•Minimum 1-2 yrs. experience in food and beverage industry
•Prior experience within a full-service hotel property is preferred


Language Skills:

•Ability to read, write, and verbally communicates effectively and professionally with other departments, guests, and vendors in English.
•Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
•Ability to diplomatically deal with difficult situations and people, while exhibiting a consistent level of professionalism.


Physical Ability:

•While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to bend, push, pull, stand, walk, and talk or hear.
•The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, or telephone.
•The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10-25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.


Other:

•Must be able to work weekends/holidays.
•Must be able to communication effectively.
•Previous guest relations training.
