Pitfire is seeking an Assistant Kitchen Manager to join the team!

We are seeking a highly motivated, passionate Assistant Kitchen Manager. The Assistant Kitchen Manager will be responsible, but not limited to, all operations of the commissary kitchen on a daily basis.
You will:
- Ensure that food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant's recipes, portioning, cooking and serving standards
- Friendly and helpful; Eager to learn and adapt
- 1 year Lead Line Cook experience in similar environment
- Active Food Handlers Card
Skills/Qualifications:
- 2-3 years’ experience and or similar environment.
- Dedication to excellent food quality and ensuring compliance with all health and safety, and safe food handling practices
- Passion for food; should be bright, seasonal, and ingredients driven
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment
- Ability to communicate effectively in a positive/upbeat fashion
- Clean driving record, experience driving a 16’ box truck
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Active ServSafe Management Food Safety Certificate
